About Julia
Hey there! Thank you for taking the time to visit Skin RN!
My name is Julia Hevle and I am the creator of Skin RN. I'm a silly, outgoing mom, wife, esthetician, RN who is passionate about health, beauty and making others feel good in their own skin!
As a young girl, I was plagued with cystic acne that made me very insecure. In my early twenties, a medical esthetician took me under her wing. It took about two years, but she cleared my skin and I found confidence in myself for the first time. Right then and there, I knew this was something I wanted to do for others.
After becoming a licensed esthetician in 2005, I enrolled in nursing school solely to improve my craft. In 2008, I earned my RN and worked in dermatology and skin cancer clinics until I had my son in 2012.
After taking a year off to be a Mom, I opened Skin RN. I'm proud to say that I've been able to help hundreds of people over the last ten years and I look forward to continuing on this path for many years to come.
When I'm not working, I'm usually spending time with my family and friends. My family and I keep ourselves busy with traveling, concerts, my sons basketball games, and regular events with our friends. Because we are always doing something , I promise I will always have an entertaining story when I see you!
